How to Play
- Have everyone sit in a circle.
- Get a nice rhythm going by alternating clapping and slapping your thighs.
- One person starts by saying, "The minister's cat is an..." and saying an adjective that starts with 'a', such as "angry" and then finishing up with "...cat!"
- Keeping a steady rhythm, the next person starts the same, but must use a different adjective that starts with 'a', such as "adorable" and then finishes with
"...cat!"
"The minister's cat is an adorable cat!" - Keep going until someone can't think of an adjective that starts with 'a'.
- Then that person is out!
- The next person advances to the next letter of the alphabet, in this case, 'b'. Such as "The minister's cat is a boring cat."
- The play continues until only one person is left, or you've made it through the entire alphabet!
The minister's cat is a cat.
